Christmas Music Box Model

Created in Course GRA-202 @ Southern New Hampshire University

The Christmas Music Box was created during my introductory 3DS Max course and focuses on 3D modeling techniques used in game development. I selected this artifact because it demonstrates my understanding of both low and high-polygon modeling, asset optimization, and the relationship between models and textures across different gaming platforms. Through creating this project, I learned the fundamentals of the 3D asset pipeline and how technical constraints influence design decisions. One challenge was balancing visual quality with polygon efficiency, which required multiple revisions and feedback-driven improvements. The final artifact reflects a stronger understanding of industry-standard modeling practices and game-ready asset creation.
